Location
The villa is in La Ciotat, on the Provence coast between Marseille and Toulon, away from the bustle of the busiest resorts and a few minutes from the old harbour, the beaches and the town centre. A seafront restaurant is 300 metres away on foot, and a Michelin-starred restaurant 4 minutes by car. The Calanques National Park begins at the edge of town, with the Figuerolles creek and the Mugel, and the Route des Cretes runs from La Ciotat to Cassis along the clifftops of Cap Canaille. Inland, the hilltop villages of Le Castellet and La Cadiere-d'Azur overlook the Bandol vineyards, and the markets of Bandol and Cassis set the rhythm of the week. The concierge can arrange boat trips on a traditional teak boat, 2CV drives along the Route des Cretes, wine tastings, Provencal cooking classes or private parties.
