Charming house in the heart of Giurdignano, a small village surrounded by olive trees, close to the lovely church square. Built in 1762, the house is characteristic of the Salento style, with white rooms, vaulted ceilings and large fireplaces. Two Moorish-inspired courtyards adorn the house, one of them with a pleasant pool. Giurdignano is famous for its megalithic monuments, dolmens and menhirs, the archaeological site of Le Centoporte, several crypts, including San Salvatore, and two Neolithic hypogeum tombs from the second millennium BC. Otranto, with its cathedral and sandy beaches, is 4 km away, a 5 to 10 minute drive.
