Luxury chalet for rent in Le Valais ski in and out for 12 people

The Experience

Set at 3,000 metres in the Swiss Alps, in the heart of the Valais, this private cabane is let on an exclusive-use basis from mid-December to late April. You arrive by lift and then by snowmobile, on skis or on snowshoes while your luggage is brought up separately, so the journey itself becomes part of the stay. A dedicated team greets you with champagne and takes care of everything: private chef, concierge, service staff and certified Swiss mountain guides. Days are shared between first tracks before the lifts open, ski touring and evenings by the fire beneath a sky with no other lights in sight. A luxury chalet rental in Switzerland conceived as a high-altitude refuge, with no compromise on comfort.

Layout

Spread over 420 m², this three-bedroom Valais chalet brings together glass, timber and stone in contemporary, sustainable architecture. The main floor centres on an open-plan great room with floor-to-ceiling windows, polished concrete floors, reclaimed-wood beams and a suspended fireplace, flowing into the dining area. The same level holds the three king-size bedrooms, including the master with its private bathroom and sunrise views over the peaks, as well as the sauna and the ski room. Upstairs, a lofted pod room sleeps up to six guests in three separate double beds. The cabane has two bathrooms, two kitchens (a preparation kitchen and a show kitchen) and fully separate staff quarters. To the south, the sun terrace with its open fire pit and snow bar looks across to the neighbouring glacier.

Amenities

Wellness is at the heart of the stay, with an indoor walnut-lined sauna, a snow plunge just steps away and a sports massage on request. The great room has a concealed television, high-speed internet, a home audio system, smart lighting, books, board games and wool throws, and telescopes and star maps are provided for stargazing. Bedrooms feature natural wool bedding, blackout blinds and silent ventilation, with bathrobes, towels and luxury bath products supplied. Included are the meet-and-greet in the village and guided escort to the cabane, luggage transport, a private chef with personalised menus (breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner, with children's menus when needed), food, house wines and drinks, evening turn-down and guided activities such as first tracks, private night skiing and ski touring. Ski passes, equipment, airport transfers, lunch at the cabane, tastings, heli-skiing, paragliding and husky sledding are available as extras.

Location

The cabane sits at 3,000 metres above a renowned resort in the Valais, Switzerland, beside a glacier and facing peaks of more than 4,000 metres. It lies within a large lift-linked ski area with true ski-in, ski-out access: confident skiers come straight down from the summit, while others reach the cabane on skis or snowshoes from the mid-station in under 40 minutes. The site runs off-grid, with spring-water capture and low-impact materials. Beyond the resort, the guides arrange heli-drops, ski-touring traverses and glacier picnics, making this Swiss Alps luxury chalet rental a rare way to experience the high mountains in complete privacy.
