Welcome to Dalmatia - Split...

The region of Split in Dalmatia is rich by its numerous cities and villages to visit, especially the city-museum of Trogir founded at the 2nd century or Split, historical centre with the Diocletian's palace. These two cities are registered at the Unesco world heritage. It is a good starting point to visit the nearby islands of Hvar with their history of art and scents of lavender, or Brac to admire the monastery constructed in the rock or enjoy the most beautiful spot of windsurf of the Adriatic in Bol. You will also admire the caves of Modra Spilha (blue cave) or go down to the Cetian River 105 km long by canoe. You could do nice walks on the paths of the Marjan forest park. Central Dalmatia has long pebble beaches and crystalline water. Above the beaches, the Part Biokova massif is 1762 m altitude where we can see the farthest islands.
