Welcome to Istria...

This region is located in the north west of Croatia and mixes the Italian charm of the Adriatic with a green countryside of vineyards, medieval fortified cities and villages, and small ports. Amongst the sites of this region, Porec is a nice city at the end of the peninsula of this region with its byzantine basilica and its very nice beaches, protected by the Saint Nicola island, Pula, heir of the roman Empire has a nice port, mosaics, temples and fortified doors. More in the north, one will discover behind the medieval walls, the very nice city of Motovun. Amongst the most visited sites of Croatia is Rovinj, a fortified city surrounded by the sea. Many painters and writers have settled there. Finally, the Brijui islands next to the west coast of Istria will welcome you in their national Park, in a lush nature and bay with turquoise water.
