WELCOME IN MALTA AND ITS ARCHIPELAGO...
Located south of Sicily, at only 2h40 from Paris, the archipelago of Malta is a European, African and Oriental mix. Only 3 of the 9 islands are inhabited: Malta, Gozo and Comino. With 7000 years of history, a long time dominated by the knights Hospitaliers, it took its independence just recently in 1964. Since, Malta has become a destination for summer holiday with many marks of its past: ramparts, citadel in La Vallette and Mdina, large palaces and baroque cathedrals with their Venetian colours. Gozo, nearby island, reachable within 20 minutes by ferry, is a privileged and calmer site in which one will appreciate the local life.
Scuba diving lovers will be amazed by exceptional sea sites like the Fungus Rock. Both islands have architecture with nice character villas, with ochre colour stone, located near the fortified villages.
