The region stretches from the South of Catalonia along the Mediterranean Sea. 466kms of coast and a total surface of 23 500km2, the Valencia Community offers huge beaches, great sierras and different natural spaces, giving a wide choice of possibilities to the ones that want to discover this region.
Its large beaches of white sand (100kms) and the spectacle of the orange groves stretching to the infinite make the region famous worldwide. It offers two very different faces: the coast and the mountains. The first is very animated and the sea stations each have their unique atmosphere. The inland is not as known. The mountains of the sierras, hiding wild gorges here and there, offers a landscape of large pine forests where one can find prehistoric caves and admire the rock paintings.
