Welcome to the Dordogne ...
Discover this beautiful region through its extraordinary places such as a flour mill from the XII th century or admiring the Dordogne valley with its castles and romantic villages from an air baloon. Nowadays the region is appreciated by the Anglo-Saxons, for its landscapes and gastronomy. It is also one of the birthplaces of mankind: the Lescaux Caves welcomed the first settlers, Rocamadour or the medieval towns of Martel and Sarlat were the next to be settled. How about a fun water ride in canoe or kayak on the Dordogne, then take a picnic break on a small island, prepared by the chef of one of our castles. Concerning accommodation, you will find on the following pages very beautiful chartreuse houses, XII th century castles, astonishing bourgeois houses and also houses strictly respecting the European norms of High Environmental Quality. |
