Welcome to Malta...
Malta is a cosmopolitan and very welcoming island. You will discover many villages, lively or more authentic with bays and small boats moored in front of the low houses.
One must go to La Vallette to see the coloured roads with their facades and discover this beautiful citadel facing the sea. Mdina is another citadel to visit in the heart of the island, at 200m altitudes with a labyrinth of medieval roads. St Julians and St Georges Bay in the north are very lively places and offer nightlife with restaurants and nightclubs. More in the west is St Paul bay, reputed place for its elegance and chic boutiques. The bay enjoys a beautiful view on the Saint Paul Island.
Mellieha, an uphill village, has a quiet seaside resort, not far from Sweethaven, a very nice natural reserve, and from Cirkewwa where the ferry brings you to Gozo that you will be able to visit during the day.
