Welcome to Sardinia...
Sardinia allies a magnificent seacoast with rural landscapes of mountains and plains. Located in the superb region of Gallura, The Costa Smeralda ("Emerald coast"), is the north oriental coast of the island, known by many visitors as the little kingdom created by the Prince Karim Aga Khan. A real paradise made of beaches, natural bays with green and crystalline waters and ports of agreements. Half an hour boat from the coast, one can admire the archipelago of the islands of the Maddalena, a haven of peace classified as a national park. In Sardinia, there is another green colour not very different from the one of the sea: the green of the mountains and high plateau, kingdom of the pastoral economy. The charm of the unspoilt and wild territory, like the majestic Gernnargentu, with its landscapes marked by the wind will leave you breathless. Amongst the most beautiful cities of Sardinia, there is Cagliari, with its historical quarter surrounded by the bastion walls on top of a calcareous rock, or Alghero, marked by the Spanish influence that we can see in the language, traditions and numerous monuments constructed in Catalan gothic style.
