At the bottom of the Alps, between Switzerland and the plain of Padana, is the Como Lake, one of the most sophisticated lakes of Italy, with many villas from the 18th century with lush parks and picturesque villages, rich of history and artistic beauty. The romantic Orta Lake is located in an amazing landscape, where you can make walks in the bushes and forests of firs. The Island of San Giulio is beautiful with its basilica, amongst the most important roman style constructions of all Piedmont.
The Garda Lake, with amazing clear water, is a combination of culture and nature. Its typical villages, with alleys and terraces, are places to relax and enjoy nightlife.
