This is a beautiful villa situated near Gaeta and Sperlonga, both of which are lovely towns well worth discovering for their historical interest and artistic beauty. The villa is split into two completely self-contained units, each with its own entrance and private outdoor space. The main unit overlooks the sea through a pretty arch. The smaller one, which is on the other side away from the sea, is occupied occassionally by the owners' relatives. The property benefits from a large garden, which is clearly defined, the borders of which go down to the beach. It is an oasis of greenery, rich in palm trees, cacti and Mediterranean pines, which open on to the beachfront. The large terrace is particularly pleasant. It is built in wood and faces the sea at the edge of the garden. There is nothing nicer than to enjoy a meal whilst watching the sun set on the bay. For convenience, there is also a changing room and shower near the beach. The villa is located right on the bay so guests have direct access to the beach. There is another villa right attached to the house, occasionally lived by the owner's family. There are provisions for the use of a canoe, a "pattino" (a light boat used by swimmers) and a small sailboat that can be taken out into the bay and a small engine boat to reach the wonderful and wild Lago di Fondi now turned into National Park. San Felice Circeo, with its pretty rocky beach with grottoes and secluded inlets is only 6 kilometres away. At the top of the little town is the medieval centre, which is well worth exploring, as are the various cafes and restaurants, especially as an evening visit. From Terracina, you can also reach the two very beautiful islands of Ponza and Palmarola.
