Dès que j’arrive à la Marina di Fiori je perçois l’ambiance de Porto Vecchio. De la route qui longe le quartier de la marina j’emprunte une ruelle sans issue. Passé le portail de la villa une jolie cascade me souhaite la bienvenue et une montée en pente raide m’invite à prendre de la hauteur. Après quelques pats dans un petit patio intime et accueillant, je passe la porte d’entrée et je suis conquise de suite par l’ambiance chaleureuse de la maison. La décoration est à la fois moderne et recherchée, pensée pour se sentir comme chez soi (les propriétaires y réside une bonne période de l’année) on sent vraiment le soin du détail et la recherche d’harmonie. La maison est très lumineuse, le salon - salle à manger se projette vers l’extérieur grâce aux grandes baies vitrées. La terrasse est une pièce à vivre à part entière : cuisine d’été, espace repas et grand salon, le tout avec une magnifique vue mer qui domine le Golf de Porto Vecchio. De la terrasse on peut accéder directement à l’espace piscine située en dessous, entouré d’un jardin arboré et fleuri extrêmement bien soigné, le tout se fond dans le décor. Les chambres sont très design et les salles de bain ont un style plus traditionnel Corse. Au rez-de-chaussée se trouve un appartement avec espace salon, cuisine entièrement équipée ainsi qu’une chambre double. Il peut être rendu indépendant pour un jeune couple ou des invités qui souhaiterait garder leur intimité. De la maison je me dirige à pied vers la mer, il me suffit de passer le portail et aller jusqu’au bout de la ruelle pour trouver le chemin qui mène à la plage de sable. Il n’y a que 100 mètres à parcourir! Je longe la plage direction le sporting, Club de la Marina di Fiori avec grande piscine olympique idéale pour faire des longueurs, terrains de tennis, boulodrome, restaurant et la possibilité de louer un emplacement au port privé de la marina.
